Meet Our Team
Raquel Latorre
Raquel Latorre works in the Immigration Department at Latorre Law Firm. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, she grew up watching her father serve and advocate for the Hispanic community. As a first-generation American who is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Raquel has always been driven to follow in her father's footsteps. She is deeply committed to helping immigrant and Hispanic communities navigate a legal system that is difficult enough on its own, without the added challenge of a language barrier.
Raquel has been part of the Latorre Law Firm team since 2020, working as an interpreter, a personal injury legal assistant, and, since 2023, an immigration legal assistant. In the Immigration Department, she prepares family-based petitions, researches immigration law to support case strategy and responses to Requests for Evidence and helps prepare cases for immigration court.Raquel earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, where she served as a Senior Staffer and member of the Educational Board of the Administrative Law Review and received a Notice of Superior Work. She was also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Society, and she was a semifinalist in the 2026 International Alternative Dispute Resolution (INADR) Competition.
She also studied law for a semester at ESADE Law School in Barcelona, Spain and was an active member of the Latin American Law Students Association.
Before law school, Raquel earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management, cum laude with departmental honors, and a minor in Political Science from Clemson University. While there, she served as a Financial Representative for Kappa Kappa Gamma and studied abroad in Florence, Italy.Outside of work, Raquel loves traveling, listening to music, and hanging out with her cat, Pimento
