Mr. Nicholas Stark is an Associate Attorney in the Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Departments at Latorre Law Firm.

Nicholas J.A. Stark, originally from Loveland, Colorado, is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina. He focuses his practice on Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury, advocating for individuals navigating complex claims and recovery processes.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law in 2014 and received his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 2004. Throughout his practice, Mr. Stark has drafted briefs at all levels of the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission, including matters that proceeded to the respective state Courts of Appeals.

He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the South Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

In addition to his work on behalf of injured workers, Mr. Stark has also represented employer defendants for a brief time, giving him a more comprehensive perspective on workers’ compensation disputes and the arguments advanced on both sides.

His path to this practice area was shaped by personal experience after a denied work-related injury while employed at Walmart, an event that fueled his commitment to helping others navigate similar challenges with greater clarity and support.

Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and fly-fishing in the Rocky Mountains.
